Ituloy AngSulong Contest Ended With A Twist

The Ituloy AngSulong contest did finally end but with lots of twist to the bottom of the drinking glass with respect to SEO. This twist is about the many things that happened when the contest proper was in the near end of its awards night.

Some of my friends who joined the contest either got banned from their host or got sandboxed by either of the three search engines with which the result of the actual contest will be based at the end. Some of the famous sites that got banned were even ranking high as in they were in the top ten of the results pages from the three major engines that will be the major role player at the end of the contest.

I even used all my blogs to get the links for some of my friend's site but we were not as lucky because the links that i am expecting to give their sites were not crawled on time for the contest to take effect and give a jerk to their rankings. I have by the way 3 blogs out of six that have a PR of 1, 2, and 2 respectively. I have been able to get invited also by the way by other major registered contestants at a latter time before the contest ends and some of them were marhgil's blog as i saw an invitation only later this month when i decided to take a look at my blogs to make some posts. For short i was not able to exchange links with him in time for the effect for the contest and possibly make him 1 blog love link more popular that the others.

Another entry to the Ituloy AngSulong contest which was from another friend failed to make it probably because he lacked the time to develop the links that his site needs to get the popularity that will take for his site to be able to make it to the top spots. The aim for the top spot wil take him to winning an award probably just s few thousand pesos only but the actual and most important of it all is the prestige to be the best link builder of the pact of SEO's that joined the contest.

Many other controversies were present whilst the Ituloy AngSulong contest was ongoing. One of them was that one of the major sponsors of the contest, who is also the presiding CEO of SEO Philippines, Mark Macalua allegedly had an entry but i never got to confirm the accusation i was only able to read from another blog while the contest was ongoing.
